Made of japanese cotton (the brown ribbon on the chestline is also coming all the way from JAPAN!! (thank you Sulastri)). This is a maxi dress which is meant to cover the whole legs, but yes, your baby still need a pair of socks to go with this long dress. :)
I found a beautiful ribbon embroidered baby gown in Sew Beautiful magazine. My baby was 4 months old, my father was getting married, and I thought it was a perfect time and a perfect reason to start my own project.
On the chestline, i put some beads in a straight line, and add a cute baby button just right in the middle. And, of course, the cute button was bought from Craft World SS2 @ Yee Button.
This dress was made in one night!
